About Heart Rate Zones
Heart rate zones represent different levels of exercise intensity. Training in different zones has different benefits:
- Zone 1 (50-60%): Very light - warm-up and recovery
- Zone 2 (60-70%): Light - fat burning and endurance building
- Zone 3 (70-80%): Moderate - cardiovascular fitness
- Zone 4 (80-90%): Hard - anaerobic capacity
- Zone 5 (90-100%): Maximum - peak performance

- A normal resting heart rate ranges from 60-100 bpm
